Modern careers are very demanding. Parents do not get adequate time to be with their young kids. As a result, taking these kids to a day-care learning centre is the only solution that most parents have. As a parent you need to find out the best learning and daycare solution for your child.

There are basically three types of day-care services that are available to career parents. First, you can get a personal tutor or nanny for your child who can offer home day-care services at your home. The second option is to take the kid to a private day-care or learning centre. The third one is to take your young kid to a private pre-school.

The reason why it has to be a private pre-school, and not a publicly funded one is simply because, federally funded public pre-school or pre-K programs are in a dire situation across all states in the country. The current harsh economic climate has ushered in an era of unprecedented budget cuts. Federal budgetary support for pre-k programs has been constrained. Few states that used to support pre-school programs in public schools have reduced their budgets. This has led to a total collapse of this program. Some public schools have had to stop the program altogether.

Parents with demanding careers are finding themselves in a situation where they have to choose between a day-care and a private pre-school. The biggest advantage of taking a child to a private pre-school is the comparatively low cost. Private day-care learning centers are very expensive. Day-care services in Florida can cost one up to $50 per day. This could total up to $1000 in a month. Private pre-school tuition in Montessori schools costs about $5500 per annum. The low costs are obvious. Taking your child to a day-care will end up costing you more than $10,000 per annum.

Apart from costs, child who goes through a day-care or a nanny is usually very under stimulated. The reason for this can be explained by the fact that, they do not spend their time in a school environment. They also do not get professional tutors who would prepare them for learning.

Montessori pre-school programs like the one like the one offered under the Dunedin tutoring to provide a highly stimulating environment for learning are very good. Montessori private schools have many focused early learning programs. The program encourages children to be self-reliant. It also prepares them for a life of independence. This is achieved through a thorough mentoring process where the kids are encouraged to take a proactive role rather than a passive one. The tutor only takes the role of a facilitator.

Like many Montessori schools, the Dunedin Academy also acts as an excellent private independent high school. The school comes as a win-win situation for busy career parents who would like their kids to get the best education that is available. It is very cheap, while compared to a daycare. Before you commit your child to an all-day day-care, evaluate how much it will cost you in the next ten months of a regular school year and then consider the benefits that your child will accrue by going through a preschool program like the one being offered at any private Montessori school.
