Training the dog…….
Teaching behavior and skills to the dog is what you call dog training. The respond to certain commands or coping skills for social beneficiary are the metaphors of dog training. You definitely need a good dog school out of the blues.
The canine dominant animal experiences operant conditioning, classic conditioning, or non-associative learning in the training process. We, you and I need a teacher to learn the social ethics. The dogs aren’t different in this aspect. The Dog trainers are employed to carry out the task.
The “What kind of training” catalogue for you…..
There are two categories to the training domain.
Basic Training
Advanced Training Classes
Let’s work on the basic Dog Training first. The social acceptance training is the second name of basic training. It is all about teaching the animal to behave. The common behaviors included are:
• Sit
• Down
• Stay
• Recall
• Close
• Heel
• Up (without jump standing)
• Toilet training
The punishment comes in the form of corrections. The physical corrections or the mental corrections are a part of the domain. Like humans the dogs do reflect different personality and behavior respectively.
It is time to fist-fight understanding the advanced dog training. This more complex from is apt for dogs who have completed the basic training module. The advanced training can be further classified into two parts:
Individualized Training
Specialized Training
The purpose specific training is specialized dog training. It includes:
• Detection Dogs
• Assistance Dogs
• Herding Dogs and live stock guardian dogs
• Hunting dogs
• Police dogs
• Search and rescue dogs
• Guard dogs
Training style for dogs….
There are two types of dog training styles:
Positive Reinforcement
Negative Reinforcement
Let’s reinforce the positive first. It is reward dog training. A reward is given for responding in synch to the trainer’s command. The dogs receive rewards in the form of food or the verbal praise. It is generally the tussle between the materialistic and the non-materialistic things as reward to the dogs.
The puppies are trained to desire a specific toy. This method is implied to train the dogs for bomb detection and police department. “Building Prey Drive” is name of the process. There are techniques employed for positive Reinforcement dog training:
• Conditional Rein forcer
• Shaping or Successive Approximation
• Desensitization
The negative reinforcement dog training is likely the opposite. It is a concept that supports the dominance theory. The theory advocates that strive for higher position among animals is the cause for their bad behavior. The best chance to bring a change is by applying force. There are, however, certain techniques employed for negative reinforcement:
• Verbal reprimands
• Automatic corrections
• Escape Training with remote collar
• Escalating corrections
• Avoidance corrections
• Pack behavior corrections
