The siren has sounded therefore you understand that it is a sign that a natural disaster is about to hit your way. How many hours must you reach to the safe zone? Or it might be just a matter of seconds? The tsunami that hit Japan recently was just one of the natural disasters that need to be prepared for. Lots of people who live in an area where typhoons, sand storms, tsunamis, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions happen all the time has to be prepared to face the dangers and should have a sound mind when disasters hit them in order for them to stay calm and safe. Otherwise, they will end up being trapped and even die if they panic and are unprepared. Obviously, being prepared isn't a warranty that one will be able to escape natural disasters because only God has the control over each of our lives. But being prepared gives us the hope to overcome disasters.

With the advancement of technology nowadays, being informed before a natural calamity strikes is possible. It will help everyone prepare and make the necessary precautions to avoid death and serious injury.

At all times, it is best that you stay informed. Radio stations, newspapers, and even mobile devices can act as tools to get information about weather forecasts and evacuation plans.

Getting out of the house as quickly as you can is the best thing to do if there is a fire in your neighborhood and it is likely that your house will also get burned. Never spend another minute trying to retrieve important valuables as you will only be risking your life over these things. Seevral people get burned maily because they do not manage to get out of house, when in reality there is still time to escape the fire. This is because they want to save as much things as they can. But this is definitely wrong. Bear in mind that fire can eat up the whole building in only a matter of minutes and when you risk your life for material things and money, then it is just like giving your hand to a crocodile.

Make sure that you educate your entire household on how to react should there be an emergency if you live in an area where natural disasters are constant. The only key to survival in times like this is natural disaster. Never panic, remain focused, and be alert at all times.
